About the Filmmaker

Haley Kirton

Haley Kirton is a visual artist and director. Having been selected for projects such as Shreveport Regional Airport’s “Artport”, and the company Art Now, who commissioned her for their statewide Walmart mural project, featuring her designs in seven cities across Louisiana. As a student at University of Louisiana Lafayette, she wrote the script for the short film Ghosted, a horror/thriller adapted by filmmaker Blayne Weaver, which reached the Top 5 in Louisiana Film Prize 2019. She and family members Patrick, Susan and Eric Kirton formed their filmmaking LLC in 2022 with the release of their short Credit, in which she also had a feature role and served as 1st Assistant Director.
